Jerry（陈奕迅 饰）与许乐（陈晓东 饰）认识多年，亚洲更同住一屋。许乐在酒吧认识了Felicia（周丽淇 饰）并迅速拍拖。Jerry感觉好友被抢走，亚洲常与Felicia斗嘴。后来许乐的姐姐许欢（杨千嬅 饰）从西藏流浪回来，就更加与Jerry处于水火不容的状态，但其实许欢一直都暗恋Jerry。Jerry认识了论文导师海素（容祖儿 饰），Jerry表现出对海素极大的好感，于是就同意当海素的调查对象，以研究年轻人的恋爱心态，可是最后还是分手收场。许乐也发现了原来自己心爱的女友其实早就有了同居的恋人，伤心欲绝。此时的Jerry才发现了许欢的心意，决心追回许欢。
