1945年5月，素女视频见习小八路董存瑞（张良）和同村好友郅振标（杨启天）要求像其它青年一样参军抗日，素女视频因年龄太小被赵连长（张莹）拒绝，两人尤其董存瑞很不服气，却也无可奈何。一次反“扫荡”中，区党委书记王平不幸牺牲，临死之际，他托付董存瑞替他上交最后一次党费，董存瑞和郅振标代王平完成心愿时，也如愿成了八路军的一员。经历抗日战争、内战的枪火洗礼，董存瑞逐渐由鲁莽、冲动的孩子蜕变成为真正的革命战士。1948年5月，在解放隆化的战役中，已成为共产党员的董存瑞被任命为爆破队长，在执行任务的紧要关头，董存瑞为减少战友伤亡，做出震撼后人的举动，成为英雄。

When the boss' unwanted advances on the wife are refused, he taunts a lion until it nearly kills her. But the other performers assist in a unique plot for revenge. Jaque Catelain directs and stars in this film made for influential French director Marcel L'Herbier's production company. Some sources also list L'Herbier as co-director, as he is credited here. The film boasts some rapid-fire editing techniques that were decades ahead of its time.
