回复 :著名歌舞伎演员中村雪之丞（长谷川一夫 饰），其童年时父母遭奸人陷害，相继身亡。年幼的雪之丞无依无靠，幸遇仗义善良的歌舞伎一人中村菊之丞（市川中車 饰）。菊之丞将其收为徒弟，倾囊传授舞技和剑术，发誓协助雪之丞报仇雪恨。转眼数年过去，雪之丞已经成长为独当一面的优秀歌舞伎艺人。他与师傅一路来至江户，终于发现仇人——原长崎奉行——土部三斎（中村鴈治郎 饰），复仇之火自此熊熊燃起……本片根据三上於菟吉同名原著改编，并荣获1964年每日电影最佳艺术指导殊荣。
回复 :Major Palgrave, an idiosyncratic but charming mystery writer, reveals to Miss Marple that one of the guests at a luxurious Caribbean resort they're staying at is a Bluebeard-type wife murderer. Unfortunately, the Major succumbs to an apparently accidental overdose of alcohol and blood pressure medication before revealing the killer's identity. When it's discovered that the medicine belonged to another guest and the revealing photograph the Major was carrying is missing, Miss Marple realizes that the serial killer has struck again and more murders will follow.
