回复 :1982年，英国传奇重金属乐队Spinal Tap摇滚乐团红极一时。电影导演马蒂（罗伯·莱纳 Rob Reiner 饰）是Spinal Tap乐团的一位忠实粉丝。Spinal Tap乐团要来美国举行一次复出巡演，马蒂则为Spinal Tap乐团拍摄随行纪录片。本部仿纪录片刻意杜撰出一个英国摇滚乐团Spinal Tap，活灵活现的刻画出了摇滚乐团台上台下表里不一的嘴脸，对当代摇滚乐做出了尖锐的讽刺和嘲讽。本片由罗伯·莱纳自编自导自演之作。影片中的电影音乐均由演员们亲自演奏创作而成。
