阿明一向沉迷于网络游戏，淫月经常留连网吧置女友于不顾。一次网吧火灾，淫月有三名死者的灵魂没有到地府报到，而阿明就是其中之一。阎王遂派阿达来到阳间展开调查。期间，多名网络游戏高手在玩游戏时暴毙，原来是三个失踪灵魂利用互联网这个特殊空间来逃避死亡，阿达惟有练好一身本领，走进这个网络时间。
