回复 :13岁的维克多和一般青少年无异，对恋爱怀抱憧景、满腔足球热血；不同的是，他和罹癌母亲住在海边拖车，过著共享一双球鞋的拮据生活。早熟灵魂和生父素未谋面，直到母亲意外收到演奏会的门票。维克多的父亲是知名指挥家，投入音乐巡演多年，沉浸在世界奏响的所有声息。维克多担心母亲因经济能力放弃治疗，便决定私下接近父亲，寻求实质帮助。此次重逢，除了瞭解父亲为何离家，也让他邂逅了音乐的美好。马勒在写下《第六号交响曲》之后的一年，被诊断出心脏病，并丢了工作、大女儿过世。触碰到伟大创作中的孤单音符，维克多深刻体会到，艺术的至善至美，大多脱胎自生命的至痛至苦；就和人生一样，和自己的家庭一样。
