回复 :1792年，江户最黑暗的时代，剑士万次（关智一 配音）杀死自己的恶官上司之后开始了逃亡的路途。在逃亡中，他又在无意之中杀死了前来追捕的妹夫。后悔莫迭的万次想要放下屠刀，但形势的逼迫又让他不得不继续战斗下去。万次的体内被八百比丘尼埋入了一种叫做“血仙虫”的异物，这种异物可以让宿主拥有不死之身，但同时也会带给宿主无尽的痛苦与折磨。为了解开这不死的诅咒，万次决定斩杀一千个恶人来赎回自己曾经所犯下的罪孽。 在千人斩的过程中，万次结识了背负着黑暗命运的少女凛（佐藤利奈 配音）。万次被凛的身世打动决心为她报仇，而之后，凛的敌人便像走马灯似的一一登场。在万次不断麻木的挥刀斩杀时，悲伤的他开始渐渐的有了疑惑，杀一百人也好，一千人也好，这个世界真的会就此变好吗？就在万次动摇的时候，另一双眼睛正虎视眈眈的盯着他所拥有的，珍贵的不死之身。
回复 :电视动画《咎狗之血》（咎狗の血）改编自Nitro+CHiRAL原作的同名BL游戏作品，于2010年3月22日庆祝Nitro+CHiRAL诞生5周年的纪念Party上宣布动画化决定 [1] 。动画由A-1 Pictures负责制作，于2010年10月7日起播出，全12话。
