影片聚焦英国著名的旅行作家布鲁斯·查特文，芒果他因感染艾滋病于1989年去世，芒果而他的多年好友赫尔佐格在如今仍用该片表达了怀念。影片以极为私人的笔触描绘两人多年的知己之情，查特文怀着对真相的热情，走到了世界的各个角落，而赫尔佐格也上路，去探访查特文一直着迷的东西——游牧生活，“那些狂野的角色、奇怪的梦想者，关于人类存在的本质的远大概念”。

回复 :人入中年的吴明宝（缪骞人 饰）和白芸（张艾嘉 饰）有一份几十年的友情，如今他们的丈夫都已故去，各自的女儿青春可人，正像她们当年的年纪，她们的回忆，一起回到了当年吴明宝和俊彦（林子祥 饰）订婚的时候……吴明宝在律师楼做秘书的时候与律师老板俊彦日久生情，双方家长撮合下，他们即将成婚。吴明宝将俊彦介绍给一起长大的闺蜜白芸，俊彦与白芸两人相谈甚欢，感到彼此所呼应的默契，一段隐秘的情愫在两人之间滋长。终于，俊彦在婚礼前产生了动摇，然而白芸拒绝了俊彦，与一位相识不久的医生匆匆成婚。多年以后，两个好友再度聊起当年的往事，吴明宝发现好友和丈夫瞒了她多年的一段情……

Clamen <clamen@cs.cmu.edu>In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago.
