“请用语言阻止我杀人”。《太阳新闻》社会部游击记者一本木透（玉木宏饰）收到封写有这样句子的信，发视信中详述了震撼首都圈的无差别连续杀人事件具体犯行。犯人指名要求与一本木在报纸上进行交流。一本木作为报道记者，发视用语言的力量对峙预告下起杀人事件的犯人。连续杀人犯和新闻记者间前所未有的对话，这出剧场型犯罪随后引发世间震动。该剧由一本木透同名小说改编，曾获得第27届鲇川哲也奖优秀奖。
