文、日本人成牛及丰越狱后，日本人成被公安通缉，三人逃至中越边境的一个小农村，以为可以过些平淡生活，岂料一日农村被军队包围，三人被活捉，囚禁于一个集中营内。三人决定伺机逃走，怎料被守军发现，乱枪扫射，三人虽身中多枪却竟然能苏醒过来，原来这只是武龙将军之布局，因龙需要一些在档案上已死的人，替他执行秘密任务，文等人均被选中，只要替龙完成两项任务，便可以重生，并取得法国护照移居法国，否则便只有死路一条，三人无奈只好答允。文、牛及丰等便就此险进惨无人道的炼狱战争中，于是发展开一场为友情舍身成仁，有不惜自我而达其愿，更有理想成为牺牲品，最后，文虽然从炼狱中的森林逃出，但已失去了一切。
