元藏是天选伏魔师后人，萌宝十余年前魔族势力陆王手下的狐娇率兵前来为夺取大胜将伏魔师灭族，萌宝父亲临死前将幼年大胜与金箍棒托付给了自己的儿子元藏。逃走后的元藏继承了父亲遗志在人界降妖伏魔守护一方太平。大胜成年后两兄弟便踏上了为父复仇的道路，而在这过程中兄弟两遇到了仙界使者小八与阿沙，在得知神魔大战的故事和自身的宿命后，两兄弟与众人毅然决然结伴而行，踏上了寻找七十二元神碎片复活斗战胜佛的征程。
