HBO诗选剧《真探 True Detective》第二季评价下挫后，男人事隔两年才获批准拍第三季，男人第三季由Nic Pizzolatto执笔﹑Jeremy Saulnier﹑Daniel Sackheim及Nic Pizzolatto负责执导，现定于美国时间19年1月13日首播。 《真探》第三季讲述在Ozarks一个神秘﹑跨越数十年的犯罪故事，该季剧情会分成3个时间线。Mahershala Ali（凭《月光男孩 Moonlight》赢得奥斯卡最佳男配角）饰演主角Wayne Hays，阿肯色州西北区的州警探。 其余主演包括Carmen Ejogo﹑Stephen Dorff﹑Ray Fisher﹑Michael Greyeyes﹑Jon Tenney﹑Deborah Ayorinde﹑Rhys Wakefield﹑Sarah Gadon﹑Emily Nelson﹑Brandon Flynn﹑Michael Graziadei﹑Josh Hopkins及Jodi Balfour。
回复 :本剧第三季率先于2017年5月5日在西班牙巴塞罗那Liceu大剧场试映，官方宣布将于5月15日首播。Julián的扮演者因个人原因将缺席第三季，Pacino将代替Julián成为三人小分队的一员，Amelia、Alonso和Pacino将面临新的任务。而在前两季中出现的Lope de Vega、Cervantes等重要历史人物，也将重新登场。
