抗日战争时期，成视天竺山是闽南游击队的根据地，成视四位儿童团员位地下党护送情报历尽艰辛。领头的是小和尚阿根，他带着阿妹、马猴、小叫化子深入天竺山镇与鬼子汉奸周旋，在爱国台胞百合和小曾夫妇的掩护下，靠地下党情报员欧阳敏以死相救，终于完成了党交给的任务。
