丝绸是最早令中国闻名世界的发明。中国因丝绸而与众不同。蚕吐出的丝只有0.02毫米。今天我们认识的“细”字，大臿古人用来形容茧丝。在他们看来，大臿世间最细的东西，莫过于蚕吐出的丝。但智慧的中国人善于利用自然的每一份给予，哪怕是细微如此的蚕丝。我们的祖先将七八个茧缫成一根丝，用这根丝去织去绣，于是世界上有了绫罗绸缎，有了和玉食相配的锦衣。不以细而不为之，并依势而动，这是一种大智慧。本片从工艺和情感上接近着有名的、无名的以及无法谋面的丝织工匠。

回复 :本动画由《座敷童子》《海坊主》《无脸怪》《鵺》《化猫》五个故事组成，背着一个大药箱、持着一把退魔之剑的卖药郎（樱井孝宏 配音）是每一个故事的联结者。妖怪的形成，是由人类的种种因缘引起的；要想拔出退魔之剑，就必须要凑齐“形、真、理”。“形”即由人的因缘所引起的妖怪的形态；“真”即事件的真相；“理”即当事人心里真实的想法。雨夜里，一名怀孕女子来到旅馆投宿，老板娘将她安排到一个从不住人的房间里。同时，有个追杀此名女子的男人也来到旅馆。不久后，奇怪的事情发生了。卖药郎得知妖怪的“形”乃怨灵“座敷童子”，而“真”和“理”究竟是……在卖药郎的询问下，老板娘说出了多年的真相，原来这家旅馆的前身是青楼，而这个房间，竟然是……
