讲述的是飞特族菅原裕一通过一点点小事累积起来，夏日以此断绝自己人际关系的逃亡剧。过着堕落生活的飞特族菅原裕一有一个长年同居的恋人铃木里美。但是，夏日以某件事为契机背叛了里美的裕一，没有商量就离开了家。之后，裕一从好友今井伸二、打工的前辈田村修、学生时代的后辈加藤、姐姐香、母亲智子身边出现。不久，裕一偶然遇到了逃离家人的父亲浩二，裕一的心中开始发生了什么变化。
