张基丰（车太贤 饰）是含着金汤匙出生的富家少爷，女主本以为能够依靠着爷爷辈积攒下来的财富无所事事毫不努力的度过一生，女主因此格外嚣张，整日沉迷于吃喝享乐之中。哪知道有一天竟然收到了爷爷将所有的财产无偿捐献给社会的消息，张基丰匆匆忙忙的结束了在欧洲的了旅行，坐飞机赶回国内。彩琳（金敏喜 饰）的父亲是本本分分的生意人，却遭遇了滑铁卢导致企业破产，走投无路的他选择了自杀，将公司里的一堆烂摊子留给了女儿。无奈之下，正在外国深造的彩琳只得返回国内，在同一架航班上，她和张基丰相遇了。张基丰爱上了这个不可一世的女人。

From all appearances, the death appears to be a suicide, but the pathologist determines that the man suffered a severe blow to the dead and may in fact have been unconscious when he died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Simon Bright's girlfriend, Laura Sharp, is nowhere to be found, but the death of the aging village Lothario and the attempted murder of another of her friends narrows the list of possible murderers somewhat. Barnaby is convinced that one of Laura's ex-lovers is responsible but given her rather active life, the question becomes which one?
