被众人誉为杰作的漫画《PLUTO 冥王》改编自手冢治虫于 1964 年推出的《Astro Boy ‘The Greatest Robot on Earth’》，无码由浦泽直树（《20 世纪少年》《以柔克刚》《危险调查员》）与其长期创作伙伴长嶝高士联合创作。这个悬疑故事的背景设定在一个新未来主义世界，无码人类和高性能机器人和谐共处，生活十分融洽。这部享誉全球的漫画斩获了无数奖项，包括手冢治虫文化奖。2015 年改编的《PLUTO 冥王》舞台剧应大众需求于 2018 年回归，并在日本和欧洲巡回演出。
