贾鹏、高清国际飞宇等人为DOTA爱好者，高清国际同时也是大学室友，因为贾鹏是初学DOTA，一起游戏时闹出了许多啼笑皆非的故事。同时也因为贾鹏沉迷DOTA，女友离他而去，却也因为DOTA，贾鹏竟然收获了校花的爱情。 在他们的毕业季，学校组织首届校园DOTA竞技比赛，而他们因为梦想、因为友情，团结一心进行艰苦的训练。经历了一场比一场艰难的比赛，他们从不被看好，终于杀进了总决赛。就在总决赛他们气势正盛，场面大优势的时候，他们毅然退出游戏，放弃了比赛……
