A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. 回复 :林丹（甄子丹扮演）正直刚烈，因为不满其上司小人嘴脸， 愤而辞职，林丹的好友边涯也是个有抱负的警察，然而亦被上司排挤降级为巡警， 不过边涯的性格比林丹冷静温和得多，对于林丹的愤而辞职，边涯也竭力想劝解挽留他，只是林丹已经对警界已经完全失去信心，在告诫边涯要好好保重后就翩然而去。端木凌风（邹兆龙扮演）是一个外表斯文但手段残忍的黑帮人物，为了寻找失传已久的圣堂古璧， 不惜杀人放火。而传说中的圣堂古璧已经分成三块，分别属于江上飞、孟少白和程庭芳三个少年男女。因为古璧，孟少白和程庭芳的养父先后遇害，而这三个少年男女加上庭芳的弟弟四人一起遭到来自端木凌风座下杀手以及早被端木收买的边涯的警队上司陆组长的双方面追杀。卷入这起风波的边涯数次搭救了孩子们。而自端木凌风方面，也屡屡派出强大的杀手去追杀他们，幸亏身手超卓的林丹及时出现，狠狠教训了凶恶的杀手。影片最后，丛林中的孩子们和边涯终于找到了传说中装着宝藏的箱子，然而端木凌风率手下赶来，横加抢夺，一场恶斗，林丹赶到时，边涯已经奄奄一息，临死前恳求林丹替自己照顾孩子们，亲见最好朋友在自己眼前垂死一刻，林丹悲愤填胸，与端木凌风生死决战…
