回复 :美丽正直的纪律检查干部姜钟琪（霍秀 饰）一早来到在菜市场当经理的哥哥姜维平（铁牛 饰）的办公室，原来纪委接到两封检举信，一封检举水产组营业员李晓青（陈烨 饰）收受顾客的华侨券，一封时李晓晴检举水产大组长孙水康（迟重瑞 饰）在批发过程中弄虚作假开后门。晓晴和水康都是菜市场的先进工作者，钟琪还是水康的男朋友，因此钟琪认为这里面可能存在一些误会。菜市场开市，顾客们因为买不到水产大吵大闹。钟琪近距离对两个人展开了解和调查，而晓青因为钟琪和经理以及水康的关系而心存顾虑，刻意与之保持距离。一面是亲情和爱情，一面是工作的责任，钟琪如何能够一碗水端平？
